"I'm Late, I'm Late...."

"They say" that we are now on Daylight Savings Time.
.
Well hooray for "them."
.
I dislike clocks, and prefer Nature's Time.
.
.
Therefore I look out the window and know what "time" of day it is.  And night, is after the sun sets.
.
My Body Clock takes care of the rest.
.
For those pesky doctor appointments, I'll have to look at a clock.  The same for the few programs I watch.
.
But other than that......   Being retired.....
.
I can ignore man-made Daylight Savings Time.
.
>,-)))))))
.
.
And you????

This is so cute. I am like you lost track of time when I garden or
working on a canvas. Have a great Sunday. yvonne

I wish they would pick a time 'set'. However, growing up on a farm it helped to have the longer days in the fields in the summer...and it was easier for school day purposes and riding the bus. I, too, like my inner time clock. xo Diana

Tessa, I came over here early before I got my coffee, so you were the first to remind me of the daylight savings time, THANKS! However, I'm like you preferring to let nature tell me if it's day or not. But we have those schedules and we sometimes need the clocks, right? I LOVE the rabbit picture - Jess is nuts about Alice In Wonderland hehehe.

Have a pleasant Sunday, Tessa. This post made me smile. :)

I don't like day light saving time makes winter so much more dreary than it needs to be. Being retired it easy to use my natural clock and love it. Get up when I want to go to bed when I want to do when I want to. I must say that I get less done because my whole life was on a schedule and now tomorrow is another day!

ditto.
one of the main reasons I looked forward to retirement was that my TIME would be my own.
and I have reveled in it! I eat when I'm hungry. not on a schedule.
I sleep when I'm sleepy and like you say... unless it's something I want to watch or an appointment to not be late for... I never even think of it!
and oh that banner painting. it's simply exquisite.

Hope your week is off to a great start, i wish you all my best for your days to come

What lovely pictures you've used for this post.
Here in the UK we have not yet altered our clocks - but soon will.

I do think it 'throws' the body clock out for a while ... but oh well, we get used to it!

All the best Jan

For many years after I retired I didn't wear a watch at all. No reason to. It's so nice to call my time my own and do whatever I want regardless of the time. I listen to my body tell me when to go to sleep and I haven't set an alarm clock in many, many years. My body wakes me up when it needs to.

Love lighter evenings.
Do not love loosing an hours sleep.

I ignore spring time change too, except for the things you mention. My husband does not and for some reason expects his supper an hour earlier. But then I'm sure it was a man who thought the blasted thing up in the first place.

I prefer my sunshine in the morning, not the evening.
