No snow.
.
I think it's time to give up on any real snow this winter.
I don't miss having to be shoveled out. Or walking or driving in ice/snow. So what am I complaining about???
.
I miss the pristine beauty of snow. I miss watching it snow, while inside my home. I miss how snow fall, makes inside seem even more snug and warm and cozy and inviting. Like a warm blanket around me.
.
I miss those things, about a normal winter, of snow.
.
And it is too late now, to expect any real snow... So, yes... I am sad. About this. About missing a real northern winter.
.
While apologizing to those who have been deluged with snow... I still post this entry. :-)

Tessa, for some reason I thought it always snowed heavy around your neck of the woods. How I wish it would snow here too! I can see myself playing in the snow in this second picture with the trees. These are all beautiful pictures, and the one that's so cool is the white house and the trees covered in a blanket of snow. :)

We've had a very white winter and I like it this way. It keeps everything looking pretty and clean. We're cozy and warm in our cottage. Life is good. :)
you KNOW I love the snow.
I grew up in states with lots of it.
now... here where I am...
our snow if we get some comes after hours of freezing rain.
not the same. and always with a howling strong wind!
give me a fluffy silently falling snow...
and these pictures are so beautiful.
and...
with the WEIRD weather patterns now...
I wouldn't be too sure but what you might still see some!
This has been a strange winter! Everywhere! I always loved watching the snow and the serenity it brought! Do you suppose it's going to be a brutually hot summer? What's going on? The world is a rather strange place right now isn't it? Gorgeous winter photos!!!
We also had such a dry Winter in Northern Italy .. having no snow isn't good not only for our humor but also for all the plants and flowers needing the Winter rest ... alas !
Let's hope in some rain, at least, before than the good season arrives !
Have a weekend filled with joy and wonder, my dearest Tessa
sending love to you

I'm so sorry you have not received your beautiful winter snowfall! I tell you, I love snow and the quiet, peaceful sound it makes while falling from the sky. I love the beauty of it, covering everything and making it all look so pristine and crisp...the air after a snow is cleansing...light-feeling. Not like after a rain where the air is so heavy! I saw on the news that another storm is hitting...any chance of snow? Love and hugs sweet friend!!
Don't give up yet Tessa. You and I both remember that sometimes March can be a blizzard. I also love the snowfalls and beauty of it. I feel sorry for those who have never experienced it. My Tennessee kids go out and play in the rare snow days because it may only last for several hours.
We've had very little snow here to, and I do really miss it so. But Looking at your photos makes me miss it all the more....It been raining a lot which can't real compete with the real deal. It was a strange spring and winter. Hope this year is more normal?
No snow where we live in San Diego, California. But love looking at it on other blogs. Wishing you get some soon:)
Hugs,
Jody
Such lovely photos, Tessa. Your header is gorgeous and so serene. We may get a little snow this coming week, but not like we had a couple weeks ago! Enjoy your weekend! ♥
Hello! Thank you for visiting my blog. It is very nice to meet you. :) Sorry about the no-snow. I know your feeling, some winters for us are mild and dry and I hate that. We have been lucky this year and we have had a good amount of the white stuff. Now we are clearing and warming up a bit and that feels good. You have a lovely Sunday! :) Kit
