I finally revved up my sewing machine, and make a skirt. :-) Just gathered skirt, with elastic. Not even a pattern. But it took me 3 hours. ----- Hope the next one will "make" quicker.
.
The material is a cute cherries on a black and white background. Just fun.
.
Next I'd like to do the same, for a lamp shade covering. Made like a little gathered "skirt", with a ruffle on top.

Haha...at last! isn't that just fun and flirty!!! Good for you!!! I am so impressed! Did I ever mention how much I adore your tile backsplash? So, so pretty! Now, I look forward to the lampshade!! Hugs!
COOL!
I like that print.
it makes me think of mary englebreit... I love her way with clothes in her pictures! so cheery.
I love this! I see this as a wonderfully cheerful spring/summer skirt. I used to sew many of my own clothes and really loved sewing, but then life happened, and it kind of got put on the back burner so to speak.
Have a wonderful week!
Lovely! Great fabric too : ) x
Love this skirt! You did an awesome job and I just love it! And yes, I agree with Miss T...very Mary Englebreit!! I just love the look of your new blog! Love and hugs sweet friend!!
I love the fabric, I have an apron with cherries on it similar to that, and I adore it! Well done.
Yaaay, you finished the skirt! And does it ever look cute. I think I told you before that CHERRIES are my favorite fruit. Now, this would look good with a plain white or black top. Great job, Tessa. Keep showing us more!

Also, I wanted to tell you, I love the change to the pop-up comments. It's so much easier to comment, and wish more of my blog friends had it. :)
