Downstreet, to eat....... :-)

Wednesday, we went to our favorite restaurant, down street.  This time we had individual pizzas.  Mine close up and his, across from me.
.
It was early for dinner, and we had a window right in the front part of the restaurant.  Where we could "people watch", and still be inside.  It was a beautiful day, but the wind was blowing quite a bit, on the outside eating area, on the deck.  This was the "best of both worlds".
.
And this is a closeup of my Gluten Free pizza!  Yes, it was delicious!  And the crust was not toooooo crisp.  Perfect!  And I told our server to tell the chef.  :-)

Most G/F pizzas I have had, the crust is way too crisp for my liking.   Hooray for this one!!!

Signs of Spring...

Sign of Spring....  Chalk drawing on driveway...
.
Spring sunshine and shadows, on a carriage house...
.
With nicer weather, we actually went out to eat...

On Instagram, I see Prosecco.  So I finally had a single serving bottle of it, for myself.  Sparkling!  Delicious!
.
His meal was Lobster Ravioli in Alfredo Sauce.  :-)
Yummm....
.
Mine was Chicken Marsala over Gluten Free corn pasta.  Yummmmm....
.
For 6 days a week, we eat healthy.
Sunday, is the day for "treats"...

reading.... eating.......

one christmas cozy...   one ya book, by a favorite author...

enjoyed the cozy, with a big country home in the uk, a varied group of guests for the christmas holidays, snowed in of course, and a murder, also of course.  ,-))))

nearly done with the "the fixer"....  as i said above, i really enjoy books by jennifer lynn barnes.  yes, they are ya.  also yes, they are intelligent ya books.
.
-sigh-  i know i shouldn't even show a pic of a home-made fruitcake.  because everyone goes "aaaahggggggg" at the very word "fruitcake."  but if a spice cake mix has candied fruit and walnuts added to it...   and then, it is pricked all over, and rum is poured on it, often...   it makes a nice little treat in the evening, with a glass of port or harvey's bristol cream.   :-)
.
and this cake mix, was gluten free!  so i can eat it too!  which is even nicer.   :-)
