Have a.............. :-)

Wishing you a lovely weekend.  And since we have our Manhattans on Saturday evening, I start with a picture of them.
.
Although I love to see lots of pretty little things, on kitchen counters, on Instagram...   My own kitchen counters are kept very, very spare.  My husband,  the "Resident Chef," likes a kitchen, like this.  We both like it, this way.   My one nod to 'pretty,' and not necessary, is the little ambiance lamp he made for me.  :-)
.
But our Hearth Room......
.
...is not stark!

Do you have a preference...???? :-))))

 .
My husband made me a "new-old" lamp, for my
 .
kitchen counter.  :-)  It is newly made.  But has the
 .
look of a little lamp, which has been around a while.

A little experiment here.....    I am leaving a line space,

between my post lines.
.
Does this make reading my post, any easier, than the
.
usual way?  (Of no line left open, between lines of words,

in my posts)
.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Plus, I have Bold Setting, on first paragraph.  Regular
Setting here, in this paragraph.
Do you have a preference(s)???
.
Please and thank you.
A peek into the Hearth Room...
I love, love, love to see peeks into the homes of bloggers.  So I thought I'd show a couple, myself.
.
Looking up, from the bottom of the picture...  The railing is between the Kitchen/Eating area, and the Hearth Room.  There is one step down, into the Hearth Room.
The table next to the railing, is an old Kitchen table, from my side of the family.  On it, at the left, is a child's toy iron stove.  Which belonged to my husband's mother.
Past the table, is my husband's chair.  (I still have to make a lamp shade skirt, for his light!)  To the right, is my chair.  With my little book table, beside it.
.
Taken from this direction, it shows my husband's chair, the tv, and the patio doors.  From my chair on the right, I can always see the changing scene, of the back yard and beyond.  I love this view, all hours of the day and night, and all year long.  :-)
.
It you love peeks into blogger's homes, as much as I do, please consider giving us some peeks into your home.  Please and thank you.
