A "Mad Tea Party"...!!!!!!!

Since I am again trying to accumulate more Gold Stars.  (See here...)  Which means I have to avoid news-news-news-news-news.  And (yesterday) it was broiling hot outside.  Can't even have windows/doors open.  Let alone stick my head out the door. 

So I was hopping around Blog Land.  Going from one blog to another and on and on...  I came across a lovely blog, which I had forgotten about.   One with lovely photos and it's just very, very pretty all-round.  A magical place!   And you know I love, love, love magical.

I found her again, because she is having another "Mad Tea Party" and her button (above) for this,  was on another blog's sidebar.  And it is today!  I will certainly want to be attending!!!! 

We don't have to participate, to attend you know.  I'm just not that "magically-able" to think up such pretty things, for such a post.  But I'm sure that others, will do their blog entries up, in a lovely and enchanting way.

Real fringe, finally....!!!! ,-)))))

A few weeks ago, my hair had grown out long enough, to allow most of it, to get to one length.

.

I had fringe cut, and straight sides.  Very short in back.

.

I've wanted this style for ages!

.

But, "Murphy's Law" and all, now that I want my hair to be straight, one side wants to curl back.  :-(((  I have to tuck my glasses, over it.

Jean (above) of "The Idiosyncratic Fashionistas"...

has been my model for a long time.  I finally got her round, black glasses frames!  And I finally grew my hair long enough, to have full fringe cut.

I still have to "work on" having as lovely thick hair as she has.  :-)  And becoming tiny, like she is.  :-)  I have the being-short part.  It's the diameter-thing, which eludes me.  >,-)

Do we really get...............?

(Susan Branch's Mini Calendar...Feb.)

Leap Year this year.  February 2016 has the extra day of February 29th.  And as the calendar above says...  We get an extra day.

But......  Do we really get an extra day?  Does our lifetime expand, every Leap Year?

Every 24 hours, the sun rises and the sun sets.  The sun doesn't care about our calendars.  Or about how we "tell time."  The sun had been rising and setting an awful long time, before any sort of time telling was thought of.  So.............

.

Do we really get an "extra" day, every 4 years?  :-)

Not an earth shaking question, I know.  :-)  But the world presents us with so many really earth shaking questions, every day.  Or at least, "The News" tells us it does...  Maybe it would be fun to ponder a tiny, silly, little question for awhile.

"Screwball Comedies"

A delightful bunch of (mostly) screwball comedies, from the library!!!!  Love these!

We watched a couple of 'Thin Man' films, on New Year's Eve.  And I got the urge to rent some more, of this genre.
