Would you know, please...........?

The painting in the picture above....
.
It is a poster, from a French Museum...
.
Would anyone know the name of the painting?
.
Or how to go about finding out, the name of that painting?
.
Without a name, or the name of the painter, it is difficult to go about tracking down a particular picture.

sigh....

No, I don't know who painted it, but when I first saw it on your Header, I thought it was beautiful. Just my kind of picture. :)

Have a sweet day.

Good Morning, my dearest Tessa and happy week to you !
This painting is by Jean-Marc Nattier, dating back to the French Rococò art production and is titled “Marquise d’Antin”.
HERE you can find the whole painting.

Hope to have been useful, I wish you a most beautiful remainder of your week, sending much love to you

If you want to see the whole poster ... go to Google search & type in
Jacquemart-Andre Paris then clicked on images and a whole load of images from the musee came up then scrolled down and saw the whole ( not just head & shoulders
