A little more progress.......

Did a wee bit more sewing....   Covered a pillow, with the same material, I had used to cover a lamp shade.
.
I purchased this material, a long time ago.  Wish I had a lot more of it, now.  -sigh-  Love the "tea stained" look, it came with.
.
We don't have a complete sewing/fabric store right here.  Need to go down a few miles, to get to one.  Hope to do this, this coming week.
.
Oh my!  I will be like a "kid-in-a-candy-store"!!!!  Soooo many fabrics.  Ohhhhhhh!!!   :-))))

Beautiful fabric. I love anything that has roses, especially pink roses. Your pillow and lamp shade (I hopped over to look at it) are both lovely. From what I could see in the photos, I imagine that's an altogether charming room.

Oh Tessa, I think you are just wonderful trying to learn to sew again. And this pillow fabric is so pretty. Looks good on your couch along with the other one. I love that look too; I didn't realized it was called the "tea stained" look. Learn something new every day. :)

Have fun at the fabric store this coming week. I don't know if you have a Joann's or Beverly's near you, but they have a big selection of fabric.

I adore rose prints...cabbage roses my mother used to call it! It is so vintage and cottage like! Beautiful job Tessa. and doesn't it feel good to create an original "Tessa!"

I too love your fabric, Tessa. My living room drapery is a similar cabbage rose design. I see your sofa has a lovely rose pattern as well. Very cozy and inviting looking. Happy sewing, dear Tessa. Enjoy going to the candy store! ♥

Very pretty and creative. I'm still thinking about getting a sewing machine! I've even saved a selection in my 'wish list' on Amazon. Small steps and all that.

So shabby chic, Tessa. Great job. I can't sew a lick very well but I love fabric stores and all those choices. I have a decorator's heart but not the skill to go along with it. I can't wait to see what you will make next.
