A peek into the Hearth Room...

I love, love, love to see peeks into the homes of bloggers.  So I thought I'd show a couple, myself.
.
Looking up, from the bottom of the picture...  The railing is between the Kitchen/Eating area, and the Hearth Room.  There is one step down, into the Hearth Room.

The table next to the railing, is an old Kitchen table, from my side of the family.  On it, at the left, is a child's toy iron stove.  Which belonged to my husband's mother.

Past the table, is my husband's chair.  (I still have to make a lamp shade skirt, for his light!)  To the right, is my chair.  With my little book table, beside it.
.
Taken from this direction, it shows my husband's chair, the tv, and the patio doors.  From my chair on the right, I can always see the changing scene, of the back yard and beyond.  I love this view, all hours of the day and night, and all year long.  :-)
.
It you love peeks into blogger's homes, as much as I do, please consider giving us some peeks into your home.  Please and thank you.

As when I take a walk at night I love to catch a sneak peek into someone homes/life. It was nice seeing a peak into your hearth room. From where I sit i can't see my fireplace but wish I did. Your room looks lovely and thanks for sharing.

Thank you! I love peeking in too! Your husband's chair is a treasure! I love that! My grandmother had a little cast iron stove like that...wish I still had it! There is something very relaxing about gazing outside while warm and toasty inside! Lovely home Tessa!!

Your hearth room is charming, Tessa, with warm and cozy colors. Here, we call the hearth room the family room. Your husband's chair is original, have never seen one like it. And the little rocker is sweet hehehe. I've always loved that stained glass lamp of yours, it's beautiful. Thank you for the peek into your home, Tessa. I noticed your twinkling lights too. :)
