I'm so happy for all who can go out and enjoy Summer! As, I can't.
I
walk out a door. And a signal goes out, to every
flying/biting/stinging winged insect, in a 3 mile surrounding area.
SHE-IS-OUT... -sigh-

My husband and others, can sit outside and
enjoy. Telling me "There are no bugs around." Hahhhhhhhhh!!! That
may well be true, for them. But not for me! My son-in-law is the same
way, so it's not just me.

No, I do not go out, sprayed in
flowery perfume! -sigh- I guess that simply "How-I-Smell-To-Them", is
aphrodisiac enough.

Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy ! And Enjoy being outside in Summer, some more, for me!!!!!

I heard that the mosquitos like some people more than others....and that's me. I don't like to sit in my back yard in the summer because it gets so hot here in California, and the lizards hang out in the summer, but Yes, I do go out at least once a day during ALL seasons. That third picture with the sun shining through is soooo pretty. Is that your neighborhood? So many trees for shade. :)

Tessa, My granddaughter is just like you...everything finds her and she gets bites. I feel for you. I worry about the children being out when the mosquitoes are bad...and this year will be scary. My problem for being out in summer...I just can't take too much heat with humidity. My old lady furnace seems to kick in then. LOL. So I am hoping for a bugless season for you and a not so hot season for me. :):)Blessings, xoxo, Susie
Haha, it seems we have something in common, the mosquitoes love me...er my blood that is - Man I have to spray myself down if i'm anywhere near where those buggers hang out. Luckily, we live in the desert so the bugs aren't so bad it's only in the mountains or around a lake where I need to wear repellant.
Hope you can find a way to enjoy being outside!

oh no! How frustrating, Tessa! I've heard of (and witnessed) the mosquito mayhem that occurs in your beautiful part of the world.
My husband and daughter suffer terribly with bugs throughout the warmer months here. I'm immune, it would seem. However, I'm very light and heat sensitive and find Summer to be a trial. Highly overrated, Summer.

Oh Tessa, I'm sorry that the bugs like you. My husband is the same. He uses Avon Skin So Soft and they stay away. I have another friend that rubs a dryer sheet on all of her exposed skin and then tucks it in a pocket. She is a gardener and says the critters stay away. Maybe you can give one of them a try. Enjoy a bug free day! ♥
