Yes..... Today... I blog......

Yes, I am furious, that my fellow citizens, were slaughtered, by a Radical Islamic Terrorist Sympathizer, simply for being who they are.
.
But I will not let ISIS change my way of life.
.
My way of life, includes blogging.   And so, today, I blog.
.
By showing a  photo of one of our "Old Roses".  The name of this "Old Rose," is "Joseph's Coat Of Many Colors."  I feel that this is quite appropriate.
.
I do not follow their way of life.  But they are my fellow citizens.  And there was no reason, for them to be slaughtered, than for any other of my fellow citizens, to be slaughtered.
. . . . . . .

From this Floridian, 46 years now, thank you for sharing this post.
I do not follow that way of life either; however, I do not feel that this is about that. This is simply darkness against light, and it's about time that we, vessels of light, pull ourselves up by our pants and say enough is enough.
I enjoyed visiting your blog today via my long time blogging friend, Sheri at Red Rose Alley.

it is so heartbreaking...bless their hearts...I am just sick they were mowed down like mad dogs...i hope they throw the book at his wife..she knew...she didn't tell anyone ...there was a time she would have been tried as an accomplice...

I woke up Sunday morning to messages on FB from my family in Orlando, a heartbreaking thing to have happened. Still reeling from all the personal stories. And this after the young singer was shot there, and then this morning the shattering news of the young boy being captured by the alligator right under his father's eyes. Far too much has happened, too many hurting families, hearts that will mourn forever.

Your post was sensitive and caring.
