Tessa, can you believe I've never seen Downton Abbey? Don't know why, as I appreciate the styles of the dresses, the elegance, and the whole era. Love Tennessee William's quote. So glad to have you back. ;)

Beautiful costumes. What a dream job it would be to design wonderful dresses like these. Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving the nice comment. I'm glad you did, for it brought me here to your lovely "home". Warmest regards, Nancy

And what fine costumes they are. Can I tell you a secret, I've never watched an episode! I know I would love them and I wish I had, but I would have so many to catch up on now and fear I don't have too much spare time these days.

Gorgeous! PBS did a special right before the premiere of this season which gave us a behind the scenes look at Downton and the cast. Part of this show revealed the making of the costumes and the wigs...SO interesting! Wouldn't you love to be an actress and wear such lovely costumes....perhaps even an extra would be grand!

I love these costumes!! We have not watched this show yet but it is on our list to catch up on. My parents love it and have been trying to keep us up-to-date on it! Gorgeousness!! Love and hugs!!

I love these costumes and I love watching Downton Abbey, of course, the Edwardian era is also so fascinating to me even if I do prefer the Victorian one ... Wonderful the quote of Tennessee Williams, that's my philosophy of life !
May the remainder of your week be filled with joy
sending love to you, with gratitude,
Dany
